It’s little and powerful all at the same time.
Disclaimer: My babies were born in the winter, so this worked better than if they had been summer babies.
For the first 6-7 months of my babies’ lives I dressed them in a clean sleeper to go to bed and took them to the farm in the sleeper for the day. THE SAME SLEEPER THEY SLEPT IN. I didn’t mess with multiple pieces of clothing to fuss with throughout the day, multiple tiny little pieces to wash, fold and put away, multiple pieces to coordinate.
I channeled the Steve Jobs theory for my babies. When they woke up, I fed them, changed their diaper, and loaded them into the mom car saving minutes picking out another outfit and dressing another outfit. I saved time on laundry and I saved my mental capacity for bigger ideas.
It’s a little trick and it’s powerful.
